National Young Leader's Day

Last Monday the 8 school leaders were invited to the Entertainment Centre to listen to an excellent range of speakers share their thoughts about leadership. They caught the a public bus to Wynyard and walked down to the venue from there.

The speakers were The Honourable Bob Carr, 2013 Australian of the Year Ita Buttrose, Australian Children's Author Andy Griffiths and Coen Ashton who is a 16 year old with cerebral palsy who jet skied the Murray River before while waiting for his double lung transplant.

The students listened keenly to all the shared advice and prepared some wonderful questions. They were perfectly behaved and did their school proud with their sensible behaviour traversing the busy city streets.

 Congratulations to the 8 leaders and we can't wait to see them practising some of the tips and secrets about leadership that were shared on the day.
