How to enrol

Every child has the right to access quality public education in their local community. If you live in our local intake area, start your journey to join our vibrant school community today. Follow these key steps:

1. Check your eligibility:  use School Finder to confirm if your address is within our local intake area.
2. Read:  other enrolment details for our school.
3. Apply online:  complete our online enrolment application.

Visit us before you enrol

Starting school is a significant and exciting milestone for children and their families, and we are committed to making this transition calm, welcoming and deeply supportive. Our comprehensive Kindergarten Transition Program runs across Terms 2–4 and is designed to help children build confidence, form friendships and become familiar with our classrooms, teachers and routines.

Families are invited to experience our school through a range of engaging opportunities, including two guided school tours each term, where you can meet our staff, see learning in action and gain a genuine sense of our warm community. For incoming Kindergarten students, we hold three dedicated Orientation Days in Term 4 to gently prepare children for life at school.

We also host a vibrant whole-school Open Day each June, inviting the wider community to explore our learning spaces and celebrate student achievement.

Throughout the transition process, we work closely with families, preschools and early-learning services to understand each child’s strengths, interests and individual needs. This partnership ensures every student feels known, valued and ready to learn from day one. Our program supports a strong sense of belonging, safety and excitement as children begin their journey at Manly Vale Public School.

School contributions

In NSW public schools, all financial contributions are voluntary. Every student has full access to the curriculum, regardless of whether contributions are made.

Our Learning and Support team is ready to partner with you. If your child needs additional assistance, please visit our Additional Learning Support page before completing the enrolment form so we can understand their needs and ensure the right support is in place from the very beginning.
