Student opportunities and activities

At Manly Vale Public School, learning stretches far beyond the classroom. We offer a vibrant mix of programs that help students discover their strengths, try new things and make lasting friendships. From sport and science to the arts and leadership, there’s something here for every child to enjoy.

Debating and Public Speaking

Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.

Our Creative and Performing Arts programs give students the chance to express themselves, build confidence and experience the joy of performing. Whether they love to sing in our choir, play an instrument in band, create artworks, dance, or take part in drama and school showcases, every child has the chance to explore their creativity and shine.

Our excursions and incursions bring learning to life, giving students real-world experiences they’ll remember long after the school day ends. Sport and Physical Activity

Sport at Manly Vale is all about teamwork, confidence and having a go. From weekly school sport and fitness programs to athletics, cross country, swimming and PSSA competitions, students enjoy a wide range of sporting opportunities that keep them active, healthy and excited to participate. There’s a place for every child, from enthusiastic beginners to emerging athletes.

Clubs and Enrichment

Our clubs and enrichment programs give students the chance to explore their interests, try new things and connect with friends who share their passions. From our buzzing Garden Club, where children learn to grow, nurture and care for plants, to interest-based groups in creativity, STEM, leadership and more. There’s something for every curious mind.
