Kindergarten

Starting Kindergarten is a treasured milestone, and at Manly Vale Public School we make sure every child’s beginning is filled with confidence, joy and a deep sense of belonging. Our transition program is thoughtfully designed to help children feel safe, supported and ready for school long before their first day. Through school tours, orientation sessions, classroom visits and opportunities to meet teachers and peers, children become familiar with their new environment and build positive relationships that ease the transition beautifully.

Our Kindergarten teachers are warm, experienced and deeply committed to knowing each child as an individual. They create calm, structured and engaging classrooms where the foundations for literacy, numeracy, social development and wellbeing are gently and purposefully established. Through explicit teaching, play-based exploration and routines that help children feel secure, students begin to see themselves as capable learners right from the start.

At Manly Vale, we believe the beginning of school should feel magical. We partner closely with families, celebrate every step of growth and ensure that each child enters their first year of learning with confidence, curiosity and joy. Kindergarten is the start of an incredible journey, and we’re honoured to walk it with you.
